Pedro de Osma

This is one of the most important museums of viceregal art in Peru. It is housed in an old colonial mansion built in the 18th century, which once belonged to the Osma family. The house has been restored and preserved to showcase the collection.

The museum boasts an impressive collection of viceregal art, spanning from the 16th to the 19th century. Inside, visitors can admire paintings, sculptures, furniture, and various objects, many of which date back to the colonial era. The collection features works by Peruvian artists and pieces from the viceregal art school, influenced by both Spanish and Andean cultures.

The Pedro de Osma Museum offers a comprehensive view of Peruvian colonial art, blending history, art, and architecture in one remarkable place.
